A peer-led initiative that uplifts and connects families of individuals with disabilities through events, resources, and shared leadership. We work in partnership with the City of Westfield and Westfield Washington Schools to foster true belonging in our community.

As Chair of the Community Engagement Committee, Coolabilities facilitates town halls, accessibility audits, and family outreach efforts that inform citywide policy and design. We help Westfield grow more inclusive from the ground up.

A statewide initiative that connects and equips Special Education Parent Advisory Councils (SEPACs) across Indiana. We provide coaching, training, and shared resources to amplify parent voice and school-family partnerships.

Full SEPAC Establishment
Who’s this for? Schools starting from scratch and needing extensive support.
Coolabilities will guide you through the entire process of creating a SEPAC, including facilitating education and vision casting with district and building administration. This also includes core member identification and recruitment support as well as training and facilitation for SEPAC leadership team.
Stand-Up Facilitation (Organizing & Launching SEPACs)
Who’s this for? For districts with parent/administrative buy-in and burgeoning structure that need help launching, maintaining momentum, or relaunching. This is also ideal for districts that have specific needs like parent coaching, artifact creation, and/or assistance with promoting participation.
Advisory Services
Who’s this for? Organizations needing regular check-ins (weekly, monthly, or quarterly) to ensure SEPAC effectiveness.
Coolabilities offers advisory services for troubleshooting issues and refining practices, as well as mentorship.
Hourly rate with a $750 12-month retainer
Guidance and support
Mendi offers support and guidance within the disability community, helping individuals find resources and direction. She is a dedicated member and facilitator of the Indiana SEPAC Collaborative, always available to assist any SEPAC in Indiana. For Westfield families, Mendi provides support, connection, and advocacy related to special education and community-based resources through engagement and leadership on key councils and in The Westfield Family Network.
